She accepted a proposal from billionaire James Packer last month after a whirlwind romance.

And Mariah Carey has now opened up about her fairytale engagement, revealing that she 'gasped for air' when the Australian businessman popped the question.

Mariah also opened up about raising her four-year-old twins, Monroe and Moroccan, with her estranged husband Nick Cannon.

Discussing the perils of juggling her career with her children, the superstar said: 'It’s hard. And it just only gets harder. But you know what, we make it work and we do our best.'

However, Mariah was adamant she isn't going to expand her family with James for fear her adorbale twins would get 'jealous'.
